“ We came in on Friday evening just expecting a takeaway chippy but the view was sensational watchign the sunset, the dine-in area was very clean and the staff were absolutely lovely and ensured we had everything we needed. The portion sizes were immense, I had scampi, chips and salad, my partner had the pinwheel burger and we split a bowl of calamari. This was incredibly fresh fish, served up hot and crispy, we struggled to finish it all and the staff were so polite as we left. I cannot recommend here enough, the staff are caring, the food is brilliant and the view is one like no other! ”

“ I called in at The Cod End to sample their fish and chips, and I was not disappointed. I had the Cod, Chips and Peas special with a lovely glass of wine. The batter on the Cod was crispy, the fish just flaked apart, the chips were lovely and the peas were lush. Great service and a beautiful view. Highly recommended. ”
